Choose-Up
The Westwood Choose-Up will begin Saturday April 6th @ 10:00. The time
will move to 9:00 beginning in May. There is a $10 throw-in each week.
Thursday Night Scramble
Westwood will begin the Thursday Night Scramble on May 9th @ 5:15.
Players must call in or sign up by 5:00. There is a $5 throw in each week. 'A'
players will pick the teams at 5:00.
Friday Night Mixer
Friday night mixer will begin on May 9th. Teams will play a scramble each
week. Couples and Individuals are welcome to play. COUPLES will play
together on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month. Couples may be split up on
the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month. Teams will be drawn by the pro shop
staff. There is a $3 throw in per player.
Masters Tournament
April 13th - 10:00 Start
$25.00 Entry - Lunch Included
Florida Scramble - Teams will be drawn with an A-B-C-D format. Teams will
draw a name from the hat before play begins. The name drawn will be one of
the remaining PGA players in the Masters. Teams will combine their score
along with their Masters partner's score to determine the winner.
Modified Scramble
May 4th - 10:00 Start
$20.00 Entry
Teams willl be drawn with an A-B-C-D format. The A&D B&C will scramble the
1st six holes. The A&C B&D will scramble the 2nd six holes. The A&B C&D
will scramble the last 6 holes. Teams will have 2 scores per hole. The team
with the lowest TOTAL score for 18 holes wins.
2 Man 6-6-6 (NET)
May 24th - 9:00 Start
$20.00 Entry - Lunch Included
Players can pick their own partner. Teams must have a minimum combined
handicap index of 12.0. Teams will play a scramble the 1st six holes, 1 Best
Ball the 2nd 6 holes, and full alternate shot the last 6 holes. Payouts are
based on each 6 holes.
ESPN National Golf Challenge

Par 3 All Birdies Count
June 15th - 9:00 Start
$25.00 Entry - Lunch Included
All 18 holes at Westwood will be set up as a par 3. Teams will be drawn with
an A-B-C-D format. 'A' Players will choose teams at 8:00 the morning of the
tournament. Teams will play a scramble from the tee. Once on the green all
players will putt for birdie. Each birdie that is made counts for the team total.
(E.G. All 4 players make birdie putts on a hole, that team is -4 that hole.)
Mixed Scramble
July 6th - 2:00 Start
$20 Entry - Lunch Included
Couples will be paired together and can chose their own team. The Golf
Committee must okay all teams. Players of all skill levels are welcome to play.
Individuals are invited to play as well.
Stroke Play Club Championship
August 3rd & 4th
$20 Entry - 9:00 Start
The Stroke Play Club Championship is a 36 hole competition. Players will be
flighted (A-B-C-D) according to their handicaps. If a player shoots a score out
of their handicap (flight) range, they will be moved into a higher flight for
Sunday's final round. The stroke play club championship is also the qualifier
for the Match Play club championship the following weekend.

The top 4 finishers in each flight of the Stroke Play competition will go on to
play the Match Play competition. 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 on Saturday. The winners
on Saturday's matches will play a 36 hole final on Sunday.
Team Select Drive Points
August 31st - 9:00 Start
$20 Entry
'A' players will choose teams at 8:00 the morning of the tournament. All players
will tee off and select the best drive. Players will play their own ball from that
point until holed. Teams will select the best 3 point totals for each hole.
Eagle - 7 Points
Birdie - 5 Points
Par - 3 Points
Bogey - 2 Points
Double Bogey - 1 Point

$80 Per Player - Non Members (Cart Included)

Beer and Lunch Included for Sunday's Round
Players can bring their own teams. Teams will be flighted for Saturday's round
according to their combined handicap index. Sunday's flights will be
determined by Saturday's score along with the team's combined index.
Saturday's format will be a scramble and Sunday's format will be full alternate
shot.
Westwood Shamble
October 5th - 10:00 Start
'A' players will chose the teams the morning of the event at 8:00. All players
will tee off on the 1st hole and select the best drive. Teams will be playing a
scramble but MUST alternate the tee shot through the group. (E.G. if the team
uses the 'A' player's tee shot on the first hole they must use the 'B' player's on
the 2nd, the 'C' player's on the 3rd, and the 'D' player's on the 4th.) Teams will
continue this rotation throughout the tournament. Teams will scramble from
wherever their designated player's tee shot comes to rest.
